The Ukrainian Scientific Certification Institute received DSTU EN ISO 22716:2015 (GMP) accreditation

The Association “Perfume and Cosmetics of Ukraine” congratulates the Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Certification (“UNI-CERT” LLC) on receiving the DSTU EN ISO 22716:2015 Cosmetics. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) accreditation, which is important for our industry.

We are happy to announce that the Ukrainian Scientific Certification Institute (UNI-CERT LLP) became the FIRST conformity assessment body in Ukraine, which received accreditation according to the new field of activity: DSTU EN ISO 22716:2015 Cosmetics. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices (EN ISO 22716:2007, IDT) and EN ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics – Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) – Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices.
The National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) certified the competence of UNI-CERT in this type of activity and issued a new accreditation certificate.
From now on, manufacturers can confirm their compliance with the requirements of this standard and receive a certificate from an accredited body, which significantly expands the opportunities to provide Ukrainian-made cosmetic products on foreign markets, including in the European Union.
NAAU is an associate member of the European Accreditation Cooperation (EA) and a signatory of the Bilateral Recognition Agreement (EA BLA), a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and a signatory of the Multilateral Mutual Recognition Agreement (IAF MLA) in the areas of accreditation of product certification bodies, bodies for the certification of personnel and bodies for the certification of the quality management system, etc. Recognition by EA and IAF means that the activities of NAAU are fully equivalent to the activities of any other national accreditation body – a member of EA and IAF in the relevant field of accreditation. Thus, the accreditation granted by NAAU in the above areas is equivalent to the accreditation granted by national accreditation bodies – signatories of EA BLA and IAF MLA in more than 80 countries of the world.
So, certificates of good manufacturing practice issued by “UNI-CERT” LLC as an accredited body according to the standards of DSTU EN ISO 22716/EN ISO 22716, equivalent certificates issued by European and other national bodies. And this greatly facilitates the passage of regulatory barriers in the markets of other countries during the promotion of Ukrainian products to international markets.
Therefore, we are open for cooperation and will gladly conduct production certification cosmetic and perfumery products in compliance with DSTU EN ISO 22716:2015/EN ISO 22716:2007!
