18 September Conference: “New Rules for Cosmetics – European Alignment and Regulatory Harmonization”

🔔 On 18 September 2025, the conference “New Rules of the Game for Cosmetics: European Direction and Regulatory Harmonization” took place, focusing on key issues in cosmetics regulation in Ukraine and the EU.

The event brought together representatives of government authorities, manufacturers, importers, distributors, and industry experts to discuss the main aspects of implementing European requirements for cosmetics into Ukrainian legislation.

🔎 Key topics included:
▪️ Adapting Ukrainian legislation to EU Regulation No. 1223/2009;
▪️ Requirements for labeling, composition, and technical documentation;
▪️ The role of the responsible person and step-by-step cosmetics notification;
▪️ Updates in the EU cosmetics market;
▪️ The impact of implementing the Technical Regulation on the Safety of Chemical Products on the cosmetics market.

The conference served as an effective platform for open dialogue between business and regulators, which is particularly important in aligning Ukrainian standards with European ones.

The event was organized by the Association “Perfumery and Cosmetics of Ukraine” in partnership with DP Premier Expo.
