Sanitary and epidemiological conclusions for cosmetic products will be canceled!

The Law of Ukraine “On the Public Health System” will enter into force in October 2023

Accordingly, the Law of Ukraine “On Ensuring Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare” will become invalid.

Why is this important?
From this date (October 2023), the conclusions of the sanitary-epidemiological examination will be excluded from the list of documents of a permissive nature in the field of economic activity.

In addition:

• state registration of chemical and biological hazardous factors is introduced, but this requirement will not apply to cosmetic products (paragraph 2, part 4, article 47);
• at the same time, there remains a requirement for state registration of disinfectants (Article 48).

Sanitary and hygienic conclusions, which were obtained before the entry into force of this law, will be valid until the end of their validity period.
