International Cooperation APCU – International Associations Collaboration Meeting 21/10/2021

An international congress of associations was held on October 21 under the auspices of the IAC (International Association Collaboration). Since 2017 APCU is a full member of the IAC in project “Global cosmetics and personal care industry”.

The following important issues of the industry were discussed during the online meeting:

• FDA UV filters restriction
• Public consultation regarding the scope of the CLP regulation (EC No 1272/2008) on classification and labelling of chemicals (deadline November 15th).
• Public consultation on a targeted revision of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (deadline November 1st), which could enlarge the scope of the current CMR ban to Endocrine Disruptors, persistent and bioaccumulative substance, change the definition of nanomaterials, overhaul the SCCS
• Introduction of digital labelling.
