On March 26, 2026, the open event “Expert Talk for Importers: What You Need to Know About Notification and Regulatory Requirements for Cosmetic Products”, organized by the Association “Perfumery and Cosmetics of Ukraine” (APCU), took place.

This event marked the launch of a series of meetings for importers dedicated to актуальні issues of the regulatory environment in the cosmetics sector.

The meeting brought together over 200 business representatives, importers of cosmetic products, and industry professionals seeking to better navigate current regulatory requirements and their practical implementation.

Prior to the event, participants had the opportunity to submit their questions through a preliminary survey. The experts subsequently reviewed the collected questions, structured them into thematic blocks, and scheduled some of them for discussion at upcoming sessions.

The survey results made it possible to assess the level of participants’ awareness of the Notification Portal (SEN), including notification procedures and related requirements, as well as to identify the most relevant topics for further discussion.

During the event, the following topics were covered:

• the interface of the Notification Portal (SEN), including company registration and the notification process for single-component products;
•  key regulatory requirements applicable to imported cosmetic products.

APCU would like to thank all participants for their active engagement and interest in the topic.

The Association will continue the series of events for importers next week. The upcoming session will focus on the preparation of documentation for cosmetic products.
