Draft Amendments on Cosmetics Regulation Published

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has published a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine titled “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 65 of January 20, 2021” (hereinafter – the draft resolution).

The draft resolution proposes, in particular:

• to change the deadline for placing products on the market from “3 August 2026” (current version) to “31 July 2027”, without changing the final deadline for making products available on the market, as established by the CMU Resolution of 04.06.2026 No. 737 (note: until 3 August 2030);
• to grant the Ministry of Health of Ukraine the authority to approve the list of specialties [for safety assessors] that are considered related to the specialties I2 “Medicine” and I8 “Pharmacy”.
