The entry into force of the Technical Regulation on cosmetic products has been postponed!

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July, 26 No. 833 “On Amendments to Resolution No. 65 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 20, 2021” was published today.

According to the resolution:

• Entry into force of the Technical Regulation on cosmetic products is postponed until August 3, 2024;
• Cosmetic products put into circulation before the entry into force of the regulation can be sold on the market until August 3, 2026.

In connection with granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for accession to the EU, all processes of implementation of legislation will be accelerated, so we advise companies to pay attention to the preparation of the following elements of the technical regulation:

• Dossier for cosmetic products;
• Safety data sheets (passports) for all ingredients.
• Check the compliance of the formulas of cosmetic products with the requirements of Annexes 2-6;
• Check the formulas for the presence of allergens in the composition;
• Pay attention to notification requirements.
